The Class Council is now officially accepting donations for our class gift!

We have started it off with one of our own donations so far and are hoping that this trend will continue to have more than 50% total class participation :)

We will attempt to have another bonfire event on April 29th during spring fling. Those of us who remember all of our other attempts at a bonfire, know that we are very adamant about this, and we will not stop until our class has successfully hosted a kick ass bonfire event! The second annual Home Run for Habitat took place this Sunday, April 5th. We were able to support their cause by donating a $50 gift card to the RPI book store and a $50 gift certificate to the RPI Computer Store. This year the run was dedicated to memory of Myra Williams who used to work at the Rensselaer Campus Computer Store. Please follow this link to read more about her.

We welcome our new members and senators from the GM week elections this past week. We had elections for committee heads and open positions. Here are the results: 

The Council is proud to announce that we will have a tent at the Relay for Life event. We hope that everyone will take the time to drop in and enjoy our refreshments and activities. The event will take place from Friday, April 17 to Saturday, April 18.

For those of you who enjoyed the last ice skating event and appreciated our delicious hot chocolate, we have GOOD NEWS! We are planning another ice skating event hopefully towards the end of March or early April. Stay tuned for more updates on this.

Our treasurer, Jonathan Proule, is heading a philanthropy initiative to donate printers to the upper class (WNDS) area. We are trying to accommodate Nugent, Davison, Sharp and two different locations in the Quad as our viable locations. We are still researching the cost of these printers and seeing how they will fit into our budget. More updates coming soon.
