Sticker Tag Registration Begins

The Class council has been planning an "Assasin" like game for the past month. After struggling to get permission for the game, we finally got it passed by Mark Smith (Dean of Students), under the name of "Sticker Tag" and specific set of rules and regulations.

Class Senator Elections Sucessful

It gives us great pleasure to introduce Sara Brown as the new Class of 2010 class Senator.

The elections were held this past Sunday (9/9). The two candidates, Zach Petit and Sara Brown, were very strong in complimenting areas, and had very different ideas. After presentations, questions and lengthy discussions the council voted by secret ballot for the best possible Senator. The results were extremely close, but the council reached a verdict.

Zack and Sarah are both members of the Class council now. We consider them a great new addition and hope that they will contribute a lot.

2010 CLASS SENATOR NEEDED.

There is now a vacancy for the POSITION OF 2010 STUDENT SENATOR. It is up to the Class of 2010 Council to elect a new one. If any one is interested in this, please look at the position description on the RNE page.

Please let the council know of your interest using the contact form at the top of the page, and we will enter you into the list of candidates for the position.

Class of 2010 Senator Leaves.

I regret to inform the Class the senator Lin Yang of the Class of 2010 will not be returning next year. After a fantastic first year as Senator, she was re-elected by the Class for the upcoming year. She has worked very hard on Senate and Class Council Projects. I can attest to her hard work on the Student Philanthropy Initiative and the Art Attack Program. She even had very good ideas for Class events that will very likely take place in the future. She will be missed by her Class.

FAQ (Student Philanthropy Initiative)

Student Philanthropy Initiative

The Student Philanthropy Initiative is a program constructed by the Class of 2010 to cultivate a culture of giving back at RPI. The physical goal of this initiative is to raise money for the 2010 class gift. However, it is the cultural impact of the initiative—of demonstrating the altruistic and personal benefits of giving back to RPI—that we hope to establish.  This pamphlet outlines our idea.

Captcha Problem (SPAM)

Hey I just found out that there was an issue with the captcha on the most of the pages for anonymous users. It wouldn't allow people to register and it wouldn't allow people to leave comments or messages to let us know.

I implemented a more simple math version that can be easily broken by spammers.
