Campus Improvement Committee Project

The Campus improvement Committee is sponsoring an attempt to subsidize RA's with money for great program ideas. The request will take place every month and the RA will be given $50 dollars to spend on their program. This initiative is focused on giving the people who are most connected with students on campus, the ability without the limitation of money to really make good community activities.

The Student Philanthropy Initiative is one of the Class Council of 2010's biggest goals. It's focus is to ensure a sense of community in the class, and to instill such spirit in our class that we will collectively and individually contribute

Student Philanthropy Initiative

The Student Philanthropy Initiative is a program constructed by the Class of 2010 to cultivate a culture of giving back at RPI. The physical goal of this initiative is to raise money for the 2010 class gift. However, it is the cultural impact of the initiative—of demonstrating the altruistic and personal benefits of giving back to RPI—that we hope to establish.  This pamphlet outlines our idea.
